I like "Grandpa."

Think about what is different in this audio postcard format from traditional audio documentaries.
Remember to answer your "Who Are You" and "Inner Journeys" worksheets as well as you can at this moment.

I really recommend A fragile son
From third coast festival.
is a story of a father and son.
it reminds me of the father and son from Granpa
Thank you Rremida for recommending A Fragile Son. I felt this was a well told story of Surjit's relationship with his son, a story that might have been ignored just as mentally challenged people often are. I was particularly struck by the impact of opera on the lives of this Indian family, something initiated by their fragile son. It intrigued me that it was during his trip to India that Surjit had an epiphany, "I thought I was the teacher but no, he is the teacher."
In contrast, I felt that Grandpa failed to convey a dignity in the documentation of Grandpa's death or a transformation that bearing witness to death can offer. I appreciated the father's agenda of getting his son to be closer to his grandfather but hanging out with friends and drinking beer around his bedside seemed merely voyeuristic and missed the sacredness of death.
Transom.org has posted a lengthy, day-by-day account of one student's
experience at this summer's intro audio institute -- including several
snarky references to the Center's HVAC system. By Lisa Tharpe. With
